Natural curls

Today my post is going to be about natural curly hair.

What natural curly hair would look like:

As some of you know, I have natural curly hair, and I absolutely hate it. Some dumb people will surely think that having natural curly hair = natural permed hair. But you are WRONG!! SO WRONG. It's nothing like permed hair!! In fact, permed hair is curly hair from the end to the roots of the hair. While natural curls is from the roots to the ends. Just imagine how ugly it is.

And yes, it's REALLY very ugly. My tips are that people with natural curls should NEVER go for short hair because once we cut our hair short, our hair lose the weight and our hair will instantly *POOF* up (due to the lightness) = resulting in hair not being all straight and etc.. I actually tried it before but I went straight to another salon the next day to actually re-bond my hair. Yes, this was how bad it was. I couldn't stand looking that way. AT ALL.

What I think is that all people with natural curls should just let their hair grow. Why? Simple. Because when our hair is long, it'll be heavier. When it's heavier, it'll pull down the hair, so it won't *POOF* up. And this is definitely not made up by me. Almost all hair stylist tell me this when I go do my hair.

I've been doing my hair since primary school because of my natural curls. But I cannot do anything about it. It's not like I enjoy doing my hair once every 6 months, which was re-bonding in that case, because my hair was still short. Just calculate how much I spend on my hair... It's insane. But I'm born with it, I can't complain.

I never used to have a fringe only until I was Secondary 2. I just simply tied my oh-so-long-enough fringe together with the rest of my hair before that. So when I was in Secondary 2, layered hair was very 'in'. And of course I wanted to give it a try! And my friend always cut her hair herself and I wondered how she did that! So I asked her to cut my hair for me!! HAHA and I really regretted. REALLY. She cut bangs for me... And because I have natural curls, the bangs wasn't even straight! It got all 'edgy' at the hair ends. And it was so.... CUI. Yes, cui is the word! And that's not all. I layered my hair till it's SUPER thin. So my hair became really light = POOF! ALL my friends said my hair last time was like dried grass. ALL!! Just imagine how bad my hair was.... Lesson learnt: Do not let your friend handle your hair just because she cuts her own hair very nicely!! And always see what your hair type is before doing ANYTHING.

So after that... I went to re-bond my hair AGAIN. I pity my hair..... I've re-bonded my hair for more than 10 times all my life.... Actually I would say around 20 times but I can't confirm so I shall just make it 10. Lol. Oh, and I permed it 2 times last year. So yup, now all of you know how bad my hair condition is in.

But what I'm happy is that my hair is growing long! Except for some parts which are still short and curly! (Caused by my Sexondary 2 incident) They were cut till even shorter than 1 inch! Imagine my sadness. And they are growing SO SLOWLY. Ugh!!! Till now they're only at the length of my index finger. AND CURLY. EWL.

I THINK I won't be doing any more damaging stuff to my hair anymore (Except for dyeing)... Until someday I just wake up and find a really cool hairstyle I would like to try. Also, I would love to not be lazy to even comb my hair some day. Haha. But I've been applying hair serum now! Yippee! So... I'll have healthy hair for awhile now!

Please take care of your hair and do not regret after doing so because our hair takes a fairly long time to grow! You will have to live with it so complaining about it won't help the hair to grow a tad faster. Especially those with natural curls!!! I will not recommend you to have a short fringe for sure! Also, you will not want to visit the salon once every month and waste your money on this kind of stuff! Invest in something better!
