ME, MYSELF AND I

Having the urge to blog but having nothing to blog about sucks. So I'm just gonna blog about me..... Well since a lot of people are asking me how I slimmed down, I'm just going to make you all happy by writing it in a post and you will be able to at least shed a few kilograms... 

But... Can I start with a random picture?
Haha! I think I look funny. And I can never ever forget what happened when I received this picture after my graduation service in kindergarten. The teacher was like "Why didn't you smile?!" But I 100% remembered I smiled, but I just do not know why it turned out like that. I swear I smiled! My mom also kept asking my why I did not smile. I am innocent!!! Maybe that was my smile last time.. Hahaha....

So..... I was the fattest when I was in primary 5 or 6? But I cannot find any of the pictures.... I think they are all in friendster, seriously. Hahaha. And I don't really remember the order so I'll just be taking them from facebook. I'll try to arrange in order!!! They're all from Sec 2 and onwards..... And actually in sec 2, I've already lost quite some weight. Just imagine me in primary 5 or 6....

 

Well.... So I tried to post the pictures I find acceptable... (as in the face can be seen more clearly...) Had a good laugh at the pictures... I miss the old times so much manzx. All the water-bombing, going to ecp and creating lots of attention on a friend's birthday. Plus, I can see so many colours of my hair... Lol, started out with reddish, then golden brown, then highlightz then now... Hahaha. Miss dyeing my hair... After o levels soon! So you think I'm ending off here? No la, I'll be kind and share some tips.... (self-proclaimed so dont blame me if anything happens)

1. Eat slowly
I heard from a Taiwan show that if you eat slowly, it will make you more filling. Because just gorging down your food will make your stomach seem like only very little food is eaten because you eat very fast... So I just... ate slowly? And chew many times.... which is also somehow like eating slowly but I find it very troublesome to chew slowly...

2. Eat only when you feel like doing so
Don't eat just for the sake of eating or because it's delicious... Like... who sets the rule that a person must eat 3 meals a day? It's just mostly of the people.. And I don't believe in that.. Plus I was saving money then, so this worked best for me. Being able to save money by not eating and also dieting. If you're the type that takes a lot of meals each day but in very little amounts, this also will do... But I can't because it will result in a lot of wastage. Right? Hahaha

3. Drink lots of water
This is like the most typical way.... Although it's not really one of the tips, but if you drink lots of water it can help you to rid of the toxins in your body isn't it? So drink more also no harm! Plus I kinda like drinking plain water...

4. Drink tea
Heard that tea can help rid fats... So why not? I like drinking tea also..... Just treat it as plain water if you hate it... But pls, no lemon tea with sugar cubes or whatsoever! It's just plain tea. Like plain.... No pokka green tea or lemon tea because they contain sugar.... So if you wanna become fatter, you can drink that :)

5. No sweet drinks rule
Say no to sweet drinks because they contain a lot of sugar! This rule should be easy to understand... But it's hard to follow if you love to drink sweet drinks...

6. Cut down the number of meals per day if rule 2 does not work for you
For example, if you eat 3 meals a day, then cut down to 2! For me, I do this too, before I 'implemented' my rule 2... I will just eat before I go to school in the morning and for dinner... If I feel hungry between these 2 meals, some snacks are okay.. But pls no chips or what! Only a sweet or a choc bar or something? Just something small and light... Although it will be hard to resist the hunger in the beginning, after a few days you'll get used to it!

7. Exercise!
Although I did not do any exercise when I was slimming down... I still have to say that exercise is the best way and most healthy way to slim down... So just dont be lazy and do at least some? If not you'll have flabby meat like me now.. All the fats I lost are from my breasts mostly... So dont regret next time like how I am now...

8. Suck in your tummy 
Honestly, if you just start to do this, it'll be super tough on you because you will look like you'll suffocate anytime... But I'm already used and I do this very often... If you just start, you will be very not used and will forget to suck in your tummy. Very usual... Haha, just place a reminder in your phone! Easy... You can start with sucking in your tummy after eating and once you get used to it, you'll just be ok to it and can suck it in anytime! You'll get a flatter tummy :)


I dont really believe in not eating snacks... Who don't eat snacks? A little is ok, but just don't stuff yourself with them everyday!!! And also, determination is very important! If you do not have determination, you can give up now~ For me, my determination was to fit into nice clothes and save $$. I'm still not at my desired weight now... But I'll take my time and reach the target!

Well... So these are some of the tips... They may seem like nothing... But I lost around 20kg... Yes, 20kg without exercise and just depending on these...
